Gardner Insurance was established in Madison, Indiana in 1979 by Bob Gardner (the “Smile-Maker”) and his wife Carolyn. Their daughter, Robin Goodknight, joined them in 1980 and still runs the agency today as the principal agent. Her son, Greg Goodknight, recently started working at Gardner, representing the third generation in the family business.
